I'm working on the birth story for ya'll which is long, and I get kind of tired and overwhelmed thinking about it but I will post it as soon as I'm finished. In the meantime, more pics to share.

    She's such a darling! So glad everything went well.

    Unsolicited advice from observing my own friends/family with babies: the most important thing for both you and Ava is to rest, relax, and enjoy your "babymoon" -- not to worry about getting info to folks or feeling obligated to update them, no matter how much they enjoy it! (and oh, they do)
    Guard your time and energy jealously, and don't let curious well-wishing from anyone make you feel bad about it...
    Everybody who stops to think about it fully appreciates the fact that you're a brand-new mama who's gone through what is, under the very best of circumstances, a major physical, mental, & emotional ordeal.

    Don't forget: adoring fans and all -- you're a rockstar. :)

    Congratulations! Sorry we didn't get in touch this past weekend. We have been at Unicoi since Thursday and cell service was spotty at best. Ava is gorgeous! Can't wait to see her in person.
