Having an underwater adventure
Ava's quickly moved on from her feet to her hands already! Within the last week or so she's started to slobber quite a bit more and chew on her hand a lot. Teething already!?
Yum - what a tasty hand!
Twice when we've gone out shopping people have commented that it looks like she's reading signs. I definitely notice when we're reading picture books with one or two words on the page that her eyes linger on the words for a while. She also smacks books with her hand when she's enjoying reading. Another cool thing is that one of our new black and white books "Look at the Animals" by Peter Linenthal has got her comparing images. Several of the pages have mirror images of animals and her eyes go back and forth comparing them.

What a smart granddaughter! She has such excellent teachers. Nana was so excited to hold her last weekend. Keep the updated photos coming!
