3 Months Old Already?!

I'm amazed that Ava's 3 months old already. She's getting to be such a big girl and continues to surprise us with her developments. As of last Thursday she had already passed the 13 and 1/2 lb. mark. Her thighs are cute and chubby and she uses them predominantly as she tries to flip over already. If we could just get that darn arm out of the way... (I like it when she talks as she's trying to flip.)

Ava's also been actively reaching for, pushing around, and attempting to grasp objects. She is also definitely trying to figure out words. When I have her turned around where I can see her eyes as I read to her, her eyes go to the area of the page with the words and she studies them intently!

We've been having one of the nicest summers in this part of Georgia this year. A good bit of rain but not too humid and actually fairly cool which is great so we can take Ava outside more.
